GEOTEK GIVES PRESENTATION ON SPCC REGULATIONS

GeoTek recently provided a presentation on the Federal Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure regulations on March 9 and 15, 2011.  The presentations by a GeoTek senior project engineer were given at different locations to agricultural and other end users for two local bulk petroleum dealers.

The presentation outlined the requirements for facilities with aboveground storage capacity of 1,320 gallons or more of oil (including gasoline, diesel fuel, motor oil, vegetable oil, etc.).  The compliance date for new SPCC rules is November 10, 2011.
